On Saturday, having been youngest offsprings birthday the previous day, we went for our first visit to Xscape with Snozone in mind. For those who don't know Snozone has real snow although it's inside.
We duly arrived, later than planned but those who know my other half will find that as no surprise but at least it was still light outside!
I had thought toboggoning (sledging)would best be suited to a 9 year old and a 7 year old but of course they actually fancied a skiing lesson. However we were unable to get a lesson (not having booked)so toboggoning it was.
What a great time I had! Yes I know we were there for the kids but who was it that said you couldn't enjoy yourself in child orientated pursuits. Personally I thnk people just get too tied up in how to behave for "their age" and start to forget how to have fun. So what if you look silly, who cares.
The kids did enjoy it too even though they had a little squabble when snow was thrown but it's the best £10 I've spent (£10 per adult per half hour, £8 kids)for a great half hours entertainment when I didn't have to remember I was an adult and all that that entails.
p.s. next on the list is roller blading

The way our winters are going this could be the only place left to go to have some fun in the snow !!
